Implant Treatment

Implant: It is an artificial material in the form of a root that is placed into the cavities caused by tooth loss with a small intervention. Although the materials they are made of are different, they are usually made of a metal called titanium.

Before starting treatment, the suitability of the patient’s bone structure is examined in detail. For accurate diagnosis; radiological imaging methods are used.

The treatment plan is finalized during the clinical examination of the patients. The implants we use in our clinic are certified and we offer our patients the opportunity to start treatment in the fastest way possible with high quality materials.

What is an Implant?

In short, an implant is a screw placed in the jawbone, and a dental prosthesis is placed on the implant.

During the treatment, neighboring teeth are not damaged and no cutting of those teeth is required.

The positioned implant screw provides the function of the tooth root.

After the implant treatment is finished, you can eat and talk like natural teeth. Some of the advantages of the implant are as follows;

  • It provides an aesthetic and beautiful smile.
  • Does not damage intact (neighboring) teeth
  • Prevents bone resorption (in the applied area).
  • Improves oral functions (chewing, speaking).

In order for the application to be performed, it is very important that the general health of the patient is appropriate and that there is no obstacle to treatment (radiotherapy in the head and neck region, the presence of uncontrolled diabetes, heart, etc. diseases).

All On 4/6 Implant Technique

In impalnt-screw dental treatment, the jaw bones are visualized in detail with this technique. Afterwards, 4 or 6 implants are applied as previously planned. Especially in patients with no teeth, oral and dental health is restored in a short time. After the procedures are completed, it is very important that patients maintain oral-dental hygiene and continuity in their controls.

Jaw Bone Powder (Bone Graft)

Jawbone powder, also known as bone graft, is obtained by many methods. They are available in animal, human or synthetic form. It is produced as a block or as a powder with small particles. Bone Graft application,

  • Bone insufficiency in the area to be implanted,
  • If the implant will be done at the same session as tooth extraction,
  • It is used in dental cases such as raising the sinus (anatomical space in the upper jaw) floor (sinus lifting), in order to apply the implant.
